The Poderina winery is part of the Tenute del Cerro group, formerly Saiagricola, and produces this red wine in its vineyards located in the Castelnuovo dell'Abate area. It is produced using exclusively Sangiovese Grosso grapes, which is also the most typical variety of the Siena area. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand, with separation of the grapes by type and appreciation. The selected grapes are then left to macerate for a period of approximately ten, maximum twelve days, with daily pumping over. The fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, between 24° and 26°. The process of making Poderina Rosso di Montalcino is long and delicate. The wine obtained from fermentation is aged in large Slavonian oak barrels and French oak barriques for approximately nine months, then transferred back into stainless steel barrels for further maturation. Only then is it bottled and released. This wine can be aged for up to five years. Over the years, it has won numerous awards and received excellent national and international reviews.
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0652/6789/2395/files/la-poderina-rosso-di-montalcino-2022_45965_1_83085d2d-eeda-404b-827d-de658eab99e8.webp?v=1773714608
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0652/6789/2395/files/la-poderina-moscadello-di-montalcino-vedemmia-tardiva-0375l-2016_38834_1.jpg?v=1773693000
la-poderina-brunello-montalcino-riserva-poggio-abate-2019
La Poderina Brunello Montalcino Riserva Poggio Abate 2019

What kind of wine it is

Brunello di Montalcino Riserva Poggio Abate from La Poderina is a still red wine made exclusively from Sangiovese Grosso grapes.
