Description
What type of wine it is
Tenuta Regaleali Nozze d'Oro by Tasca d'Almerita is a Sicilian white wine of extraordinary elegance. This refined blend of Inzolia and Sauvignon combines a fresh profile with a well-defined structure, showing an excellent capacity for evolution. Vinification exclusively in stainless steel preserves the varietal purity and the integrity of the fruit. On the nose, it expresses a fragrant and mineral bouquet, where notes of apple, peach and honey blend with hints of citrus and white flowers. On the palate, it is enveloping, supported by a vibrant acidic freshness that leads towards a satisfying yellow fruit finish.
Where it comes from
The grapes come from the vineyards of the Tenuta Regaleali, situated in the hilly territory of the Sclafani County. The continental climate and excellent sun exposure guarantee the full ripening of the bunches, which are grown using a balanced trellising system. The Inzolia grows at about five hundred metres above sea level on clay-limestone soils, while the Sauvignon is cultivated at up to seven hundred metres on sandy soils rich in salt. These altitudes, combined with the pedological characteristics of the subsoil, are crucial for enhancing the savouriness of the wine and ensuring a clear aromatic definition.
How it is produced
The harvest is carried out between the end of August and September through a separate picking of the varieties. Controlled-temperature fermentation in stainless steel tanks for fifteen days preserves the delicate primary aromas. This is followed by meticulous ageing on the fine lees, also in steel, which enriches the taste complexity without wood interference, concluding with a final resting period. The result is a structured white wine of great harmony, ideal for pairing with seafood pasta and risotto dishes, shellfish and delicate vegetarian preparations.

The Tasca family is internationally recognized for its pioneering role in modern Sicilian winemaking. Since 2001, Tasca d’Almerita has pursued a project focused on enhancing native grape varieties in the island’s most vocated territories. Alongside Regaleali—the historic estate spanning approximately 500 hectares—new estates have been added: Capofaro on the island of Salina, Tascante on the northern slopes of Mount Etna, Whitaker on the island of Mozia, and Sallier de La Tour in the Monreale DOC.
In 2019, Tasca d’Almerita was named "European Winery of the Year" by Wine Enthusiast magazine. In 2021, it became one of only 24 wineries worldwide to be awarded the prestigious "Green Emblem" for sustainability by Robert Parker – Wine Advocate. Since March 2023, already a Benefit Corporation, it has earned the esteemed international B Corp certification, joining a select group of companies committed to the highest standards of social and environmental sustainability. In 2025, Tasca d’Almerita received the "Historic Brand" recognition and was officially registered in the Special Register of Historic Brands of National Interest by the Italian Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy.
